Hey everyone! Happy New Year! Man, last year was such a great one. I was able to accomplish a life long goal when we published Cobbogoth. I think I was in shock for the first week or two, because, well, when you've dreamt and worked so hard for something for so long, and then it actually happens . . . there are just no words to describe the plethora of conflicting emotions that over take you.
I swear I've gone from feeling depressed, elated, terrified, empowered, grateful, overwhelmed, and so on, in the last month, that now I think I've finally settled on feeling satisfied and ready to start working on book two. It feels so good to just sit down and write for a change. So good in fact, that over the holidays, I was able to complete a 15 page outline for the second book in the Cobbogoth series. Tonight, as part of my new years resolution to start seriously writing every day again, I even sat down and wrote the first five pages. Woo-hoo!
So what about you? Any New Years Writing Resolutions? Let's hear about them. Oh, and before I forget, if you've read my book and want to tell me what you think here, or at firstname.lastname@example.org feel free. I'd love to hear from you!
