Myth Chaser Monday!

Alright, folks, we are back for another round of Myth Chaser Madness!  For those of you who didn't read last Monday's post, the way things go is as follows:What I'll do, is post a question concerning one of my favorite myths: urban, ancient, etc, etc, etc, and see if any of you can answer it correctly. I'll of course have the correct answer, so that there will be a winner. And, the winner--the first person to get it right first, having completed all the qualifications below--will get a prize! Yay!

The Prize: The winner will receive their very own (100% unique) Cobbogothian character, such as the ones below handcrafted on a bookmark.
What You Must Do: What you must do to win this fabulous prize, is first, leave a comment with your correct answer to my myth question, and then become a follower on my blog. After that, all you need to do is post my blog address: www.hannieclark.blogspot.com or my website address: www.hannahlclark.com on your facebook, twitter account, or in a blog post.

And now for Monday's Myth Chaser riddle: What Norse god brought to pass the Death of Balder, and why?

I will post the winner at the end of the day.  Good Luck!

  1. loki i think was just plain jealous. of course we could say, well odin being all knowing, and understanding the darkness/end of the world that would come to pass by loki's actions, would ultimately be held accountable. you know, the same argument some mortals have about god; they are blaming him for when things don't go their way.
    ok loki-doki, off i go.
    good luck

  2. Loki... It seems he wanted to pull a bit of a prank.

  3. Technically it was Hodur, the blind brother, that threw the branch that hit him in the chest and killed him. Loki helped him throw it during a festival. Loki was jealous and Hodur wanted to participate in the festivities by testing his vulnerability.
